Description

 

The UM-1 Ultrasound Sensor Interface is an 8-channel device that converts distance values to MIDI messages.Each sensor is a Polaroid 6500 ultrasonic transducer that measures distance from 0.4m up to 11m. The range between the minimum and maximum values is then converted by the interface into 128 discrete steps of a corresponding MIDI continuous controller.
